NASA eEducation

So NASA went searchign for water ont he moon by driving a satelite into the surface. So, naturally, I went into SL to see it. I'm in a NASA education sim, talking with people who know what they're talking about. It's pretty cool stuff. In a virtual world, looking at the real one.

Hee! I wish I'd thought of that. ^_^ Still, it was as much as I could do to wind Dandelion's volume up to hear the audio over the phone conversation going on nearby, watching NASA TV's net.feed. =:P

What an amazing feat. And to be able to watch it, from the main craft's perspective, live, over the net.. wonderful!

Now to see what results the impacts threw up, literally! Perhaps this will be the start of some serious lunar exploration, and even inhabitation, if water can be found and extracted in useful quantities, avoiding the need to launch it there at very high cost.
